Your reservation payment secures your pier and covers cost of installation. Once BBRO receives your telescope it will be placed in our installation queue. Monthly subscription billing begins only after installation and operational verification of customer equipment.
Your monthly subscription payment includes basic tech support. More complex tech support is billed hourly at $60/hr. Disassembly fee is the same price as your monthly payment.
BBRO requires that you have assembled and used your rig remotely at home before sending it to us to host, unless it has been communicated otherwise with us directly. We require detailed photos of your assembled rig so that we can do our best to replicate how you prefer your set up. We require that all cables are labeled at both sides - specifying the input and output.
We currently accept shipments via UPS only since it is so remote out here and we have a close relationship with our UPS delivery driver.
We cannot accept Celestron mounts at this time.
To determine what size pier you need to host your rig; measure the distance from RA pivot point (A) on your telescope mount to the absolute farthest point of your telescope. When determining the farthest point you should consider any flat panels, camera wires, guide scopes, counter weights, etc.
